Stakeholders Reject External Interference in Osun East Senatorial Primary, Accord party.

As political consultations intensify ahead of the Accord Party Osun East Senatorial primary election, stakeholders across Ife and Ijesha Federal Constituencies have called for fairness, transparency, and respect for established political structures within the district.

Concerns have also emerged over alleged attempts by certain external political interests to influence or manipulate the primary process in favour of predetermined ambitions. However, many party faithful and grassroots mobilizers across the Ife/Ijesha axis maintain that the people have already identified with the aspiration of Otunba Babatola Faseru, whose growing acceptance and grassroots connection have continued to resonate across the constituency.

Political leaders, party elders, youth groups, and grassroots mobilizers within Ife and Ijesha are therefore urged to take full ownership of the process, ensuring that the emergence of any candidate reflects the genuine will of Accord Party members and the people at the grassroots.

Democracy thrives where due process is respected, internal democracy is protected, and the voices of the people are allowed to prevail over personal interests and external political engineering. The integrity of the Accord Party Osun East Senatorial primary must be safeguarded to preserve unity, fairness, and confidence within the party ahead of the general elections.
