The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced that there is no prescribed dress code for applicants participating in the medical screening exercise for the 2025 recruitment into the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

In a public notice issued by the Board's Office of the Secretary on Friday, CDCFIB stated that applicants are free to attend the screening exercise in their normal and decent attire, dismissing reports directing candidates to wear specific outfits.

The Board disclosed that the medical screening exercise is scheduled to commence on June 22, 2026, across designated centres.

CDCFIB also advised applicants not to come with their credentials, explaining that no document verification will be conducted during the medical screening process.

According to the Board, any information instructing candidates to wear a particular dress code or bring documents for verification should be disregarded, as such directives did not originate from the agency.

The Board further urged all applicants to rely only on information released through its official communication channels to avoid being misled by false or unauthorized announcements.

CDCFIB wished all candidates success in the forthcoming screening exercise and reiterated its commitment to ensuring a transparent and orderly recruitment process.
